GLASS WORKS PROPERTY SOLD
The property of the defunct Lynchburg Glass Works, Lynchburg, Va., which discontinued operations in 1922, has been sold to Robert W. Massie of that city, who bid the property in to protect bondholders, it is understood. The purchase price of $18,000 for realty, buildings and machinery formerly valued at $145,000. The Lynchburg plant made an assignment in 1922 and the recent sale, made on order of Henry M. Sackett, trustee, is said to have been necessitated by default of semi-annual payments on the bonds secured by the deed of trust.
