HERE AND THERE.

·

·

Indiana flint-glass manufacturers have formed a combination, and contracted with Fox Bros., glass brokers, of Chicago, to take the product of the several factories. In other words, this firm will dispose of the stock of all factories at a regulated price. The factories are located at Peru, Dunkirk, Frankton, Muncie, Anderson, Parker, and Middleton. As the trade had been running slow, some of the factories cut the prices so there was no business for anyone at a paying margin. As it is now, all the stock will be on an equality and will demand a regulated price. This is the identical step the Indiana Window-glass Manufacturers' Association is endeavoring to take, and several meetings have been held in Muncie recently for that purpose. It will very likely soon succeed. Fox Bros. are the prospective agents for the window-glass manufacturers also.
