THE GREAT FLOOD.

GLAD TIDINGS.

THE WATERS RECEDING.

HIGH WATER MARK ADVANCED

TEN INCHES.

At six o'clock last evening the Ohio came to a stand, the gauge at the hour showing 65 feet 1 inch in the channel, ten inches higher than the memorable flood of 1832. The water remained stationary until 11 p.m., and at midnight it had fallen half an inch.
