MAN, CHARGED WITH

LARCENY, ARRESTED

LONG BEACH, Aug. 18. — Charged with grand larceny, J. Webb of 619 Linden avenue, was arrested by Detectives T. Cervantes and Oliver Mit­chell on a warrant sworn out by J. R. Mather of 520 West Fifty-second place, Los Angeles.

According to the police Webb is said to have stolen five insulator ma­chines, valued at $700 each, tools val­ued at $1500, and other articles from the glass plant on West Anaheim road where he was formerly employed as a watchman.
