John H. Parker of Saugus, described as a manufacturer doing business at Chelsea, has filed a petition in bank­ruptcy for himself individually and also for himself trading as C. S. Knowles. The schedules disclose total liabili­ties of $477,951, with assets of $449,323. Of the liabilities, $105,450 is set down as secured, the securities $56,715.

There are more than 200 unsecured claims, the aggregate of which is $304,357. The principal creditors under this head are as follows:
