Pendleton's Glass-Tube Factory.

PENDLETON, Jan. 23. — The glass-tube-works were located to-day, adjoining the city, on land purchased by the citizens and presented to the company, together with free gas. They will commence the construction of their main building at once, which is to be 600 feet long and 200 feet wide, and built of brick and stone. They will also add another building in July to manufacture fancy glassware. It is the in­tention of the company to have the tubing ready for market by the 1st of July, in­quiries have been received from all parts of the United States within the past few days as to the feasibility of the project, and as to when they will be able to fill or­ders.
