The Pendleton Glass Tube works was destroyed yesterday morning by fire which originated in the finishing department.

The entire building was blazing when discovered, and although the local fire department did good work, the devastation was complete.

The plant was in full operation at the time, employing 150 men. The damage is placed at $20,000, partly covered by insurance. It is thought that the plant will be rebuilt as soon as possible.
