Graybar sales group visited the Hemingray plant of Owens-Illinois

New York Company Executives Arrive Here for

Three-Day Conference With Manufacturers

Twenty-one sales executives of the Graybar Electric Company’s outside construction department arrived in Muncie Wednesday morn­ing for a three-day conference with the Indiana Steel and Wire Com­pany, Owens-Illinois Glass Com­pany and other manufacturers.

The party was headed by D. C. Guest of New York City, sales man­ager of Graybar’s outside construc­tion department. The conference opened with a visit to the Hemingray plant of the Owens-Illinois Company Wednesday morning.

Following luncheon at the Hotel Roberts, the visitors attended con­ferences conducted by the International Creosoting and Construc­tion Company, Galveston, Texas, and the American Crossarm & Conduit Company, Chicago.

W. Paul Zimmerman, general manager of the Owens-Illinois plant, and Fred M. Crapo and H. E. Hartman, vice-presidents of the Indiana Steel and Wire Company, are acting as hosts to the visitors during their stay in Muncie.

Other suppliers of the Graybar Electric Company participating in the three-day conference include: Leach Company, Oshkosh, Wiscon­sin; Four-wheel Drive Auto Com­pany, Clintonville, Wisconsin; M. Ohio; Greenlee Tool Company, Rockford, Illinois; International Creosoting & Construction Company, Galveston, Texas, and American Crossarm & Conduit Company, Chicago.
