Permit Heads List.

With the issuance of a permit to the Owens-Illinois Company for erec­tion of a new warehouse at the plant in Macedonia avenue, building activ­ities in Muncie last week were given a new weekly high valuation. However, the cost of the warehouse is not listed on the permit application, the permit fee of $132 being based on the size of the building.

The Owens-Illinois building is to be 100x300 feet in dimensions and con­tain 660,000 cubic feet of floor space. It will be fire proof and be constructed of steel and glass brick.

The American Lawnmower Com­pany took out a permit yesterday for the repair of fire damage to the plant in East Eighteenth street, the repair job being listed at $2,000.

Aside from the Owens-Illinois Com­pany structure valuations listed in the fifty-one permits taken out dur­ing the week total $8,419.50. The permits embrace new buildings, additions, alternations and repairs, wiring, drain­age and plumbing. One new private garage is listed.
