Rodefer Bros., who has such a splendid trade when fire destroyed their factory and packing room, have been engaged the past week in arranging to protect their customers by having goods supplied them as usual until they get things straightened out. They had $23,500 insurance on their entire plant, and about forty to fifty per cent. of it was on the burnt portion, so that they will be heavy losers, even though they secure all of the insurance. They have not definitely decided upon what they will do as yet, but it is altogether likely they will rebuild. Their furnace is not harmed, and their stock-house, mold-shop and office were all saved. A factory and packing house is all they will have to build to start with.
