Robert Hemingray, a pioneer of the flint glass trade, died at his home in Covington, Ky., on Dec. 27, 1898. He was well known among the glass manufacturers of the Pittsburgh district and by the trade throughout the country. Until the time of his death he was active as president of the Hemingray Glass Co., whose plant was located at Muncie, Ind.
