Receive Gas Refunds

SAN FRANCISCO. Aug. 28. — The State Railroad Commission declar­ing gas rates charged eight Los An­geles companies by the Southern California Gas Company were ex­cessive, today ordered a refund ag­gregating $10,000 made the firms.

The following firms were named as recipients of the refund: The Batchelder-Wilson Company, Mclaughlin Glass Company, White Memorial Hospital, Repcal Brass Company, E. A. Hoffman Candy Company, Junior Norris Galvanizing Inc., Western Galvanizing Company, Union Tank and Pipe Company.
