WHO ELOPED DESPITE OBJECTIONS

Now enjoying their honeymoon in Kokomo are Mr. and Mrs. David Cusick, whose marriage last Friday evening in the Imperial hotel at Indianapolis, following an elopement from this city, culminated a romance which began when Mrs. Cusick, then Miss Sue Hemingray, applauded Cusick's defense of the Muncie goal. Although twice refused a license here and despite the pleading of Mrs. Hemingray the young couple persisted and were married. The bride is prominent socially in Muncie and in Covington, Ky., her former home. Cusick is from Fall River, Mass., and is now goal tender for Kokomo in the Central league.
