An regular meeting of the City Council of Covington, Ky., was held in Council Chamber Thursday evening, Dec. 4, 1884, President Coflin in the chair and all the members present except Messrs. O'Brien and Lemker.

Minutes of last meeting read and approved.

The special order which was made for this meeting of the report of the Committee on Law, as to the opening of Washington street, was called. Mr. Mackoy, Chairman of the committee to whom the matter was referred, presented a report recommending that Council obtain of property holders on the street their consent to repeal the present ordinance for the purpose of passing another more suitable one. The report and special orders were laid on the table.
