New Jenkins' Lens Making a Hit.

Kokomo, Ind., April 30. — Everything is going along in fine shape with the D. C. Jenkins Glass Co.

Only exception is a shortage of boys. During the past week the scarcity of boys has been greater than it has been for a number of years.

This company has designed and is manufacturing a new and beautiful lens for automobile headlights. And those appearing on the streets here have made a highly favorable impression. The lens consists of a series of prisms and cupped indentations in the glass. This has been found to successfully project the light from the automobile, but at the same time it reduces the glare that has been found objectionable in ordinary lenses. A dimmer, as required by the ordinance of most cities, would not be necessary with these new lights. It is announced that the invention is meeting with great favor among jobbers.

Harry Knable has organized a strong ball team and has entered the same in the Manufacturers' Industrial Baseball League of this city. As Harry is an old player himself and understands the game in all departments we are looking for his team to finish well up in front.
