BRIANS TO FIGHT

SALE OF POTTERY

Declare Price is Too Low and

Sheriff Did Not Accept

Best Bid

J. Leffert's Conard, as council for the Brian Pottery Company, filed in the Court of Chancery this morning a bill of objection to the sale of the Brian Pottery to Leroy C. Thompson by Sheriff Wilbur for $25,000.

The pottery was sold Tuesday to satisfy a mortgage against the pottery. In the objection to the confirmation it is claimed that the property was sold for but one-third of what it is really worth and that the successful bid was not the best price obtainable.

It is further claimed that through a mistake, or the inadvertancy of the person having charge of the sale, a bid of $41,000 was refused.
