By the time this is printed the convention at Toronto will be over and I hope everybody had a good time and that the delegates did a lot of good for the trade.

Since my last letter some of the factories are not doing so well. The Mission at Burbank is down and no prospects of starting. The Crystalite has closed but I understand it will start again in about three weeks. The Flints at the McLaughlin plant are not getting much time. The last report from Santa Ana they were working three days a week. I cannot tell you much about the Forger plant as they have a new crew there so often and I cannot say how they are getting along. About all of the glass workers in California have worked at this plant but none of them stay very long. The Technical Glass Company is working full time. This factory has always kept its men working good. I reported in one of my letters some time ago that they were working a division of time but I wish to correct that as I was misinformed.
