No. 506, Luther A. Wright vs. Lorenzo C. Paul and another. - Action to recover for the conversion of certain tools and machinery in a glass manufactory at East Cambridge. The jury, some time since, returned a verdict for the plaintiff for about $1300. The defendants contended that they have paid Samuel Oakman, from whom the plaintiff bought the goods, a much larger sum, and that this amount should be allowed, as an equitable set off against the plaintiff's claim. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff and affirmed the former verdict. E. C. Gilman for the plaintiff, and R. D. Smith and C. S. Lincoln for the defendants.
