Locke installs transformer to perform insulator tests

BUSINESS NEWS.

THE LOCKE INSULATOR MFG. COMPANY, Victor, N. Y., with an eye to further increase in the voltages for insulator tests, and also to facilitate the systematic study of insulating problems, recently installed a 300,000-volt transformer of 200 kilowatts capacity, the primary of which will be supplied with current from a motor-generator set connected with a neighboring transmission line.
