"Shut Down" of an Arc Globe Factory.

A dispatch from Sandwich, Mass., dated Feb. 14, reads as follows: At a meeting of the directors of the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company at Boston yesterday afternoon, it was voted to close the works there. General Manager Spurr ordered the firemen not to put on more coal, and the fires will be allowed to go out. The decorating, cutting, etching and other deparments will be closed on Saturday next.
