WILL SIGN THE SCALE. The New Tableware Combine and the Flints Get Together. PITTSBURG, Nov. 18.— The new combine of tableware factories, not in the United States Glass company, has agreed to sign the scale of the American Flint Glassworkers. The principal firms in the now combine are: McKee Bros. & Co., Jeannette; Riverside Glass company, Wellsburg. W. Va.; George Duncan & Co., Washington, Pa.; Bryce, Higbee & Co., Homestead; Model Glass company, New Albany, Ind.; Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton, Findlay, O.; Gillinder & Sons, Philadelphia; Hemingray Glass company, Muncie, Ind.; Crystal Glass company, Bridgeport, O.; Rodefer Bros, Bellaire, O.; Northwood Glass company, Martin's Ferry, O.; Buckeye Glass company, Martin's Ferry, O.; Dithridge Bros., Marion, Ind. All of these factories have subscribed to the union scale excepting the Riverside, which has eight non-union shops. |
