PERSONAL.

Ralph D. Mershon of New York sailed on Saturday, February 16th, for London, England, to take up there matters relative to the Victoria Falls power scheme, in connection with which he has been retained as a consulting engineer for some time past. Mr. Mershon does not contemplate visiting South Africa at this time in connection with this work. His present trip will not extend beyond London, Paris and Berlin, and his absence from this country will be limited to about 30 days.
