PROTECTING WOMANHOOD

It is said that one of the Ku Klux policemen, who was extremely active last Saturday in helping frame things against the four officers who were to be fired by Fisher and McAbee, enlivened things the night before by nearly choking his wife to death back of the police station.

The screams of the woman are said to have aroused the neighborhood but since the policeman was a klucker in good standing, the board did not see fit to take any action against him.

One of the tenets of klansmanship is the protection of pure womanhood and good klansmen are supposed to tar and feather men who commit crimes against women.

The charter of the Muncie klan, however, has been revised and members in good standing will hereafter be permitted to choke their wives on Friday night.

Those who do not belong to the klan will not be permitted to choke their wives. If you want to choke your wife, join the Ku Klux klan; which protects pure American womanhood.
