David Munson, the pioneer lightning-rod man of Indianapolis, is dead. Mr. Munson was born in 1820 and spent his entire mature life in inventing, manufacturing, improving and perfecting lightning rods. Mr. Munson patented more than 100 different kinds of lightning rods, taking out his last patent three years ago. He built up an extensive lightning-rod business, and his appliances were sold over the entire country.
