877,804. Insulator for Heavy Conductors. Louis Steinberger, New York, N. Y. Application filed April 17, 1907.
This insulator for an inverted and protected third rail consists of of a saddle-shaped portion engaging the rail, and in which is embedded a metallic strengthening member of the same contour. The latter has two flanges extending upward into the head of the supporting bracket. (See cut.)
