William Brookfield has let the contract for a continuous melting furnace

Wm. Brookfield, manager of the Bushwick glass works, Brooklyn, has let the contract for a continuous melting tank furnace. The furnace is said to be patterned after those in use in England, and is to melt from eight to ten tons of glass every twenty-four hours.
