Hemingray purchased by Owens-Illinois

The Owens-Illinois Glass Company has entered into contracts for the purchase of the entire assets and business of the Hemingray Glass Company of Muncie, Ind., manufacturers of glass insulators, and of substantially all the assets of the O'Neill Machine Company of Toledo, O., manufacturers of glass bottle blowing machines of the vacuum type, according to an announcement by William E. Levis, president of the Owens-Illinois Company.
