A BROOKFIELD RUMOR.

The Brookfield Glass Co., of Brooklyn, N.Y., are said to have bought out the Jefferis bottle works at Fairton, N.J. which has been controlled this season by the Woodbury (N.J.) Bottle Works Co. and has been idle all season.
