There is a rumor that Brookfield will relocate to Passaic, NJ

There was a report in circulation in Brooklyn that the Brookfield Glass Co. was going to remove the insulator department of their plant to Passaic, N.J. In speaking of the matter, Mr. Henry Brookfield said they had never contemplated moving any part of their plant, and he was surprised to know that such a story was in circulation. He said that for some time past their business had grown to such an extent that if they had the room they would operate a plant nearly twice the capacity of the present plant, and that they might sometime build in another location, but that the Brooklyn plant would never be moved from its present location.
