VILES ELECTRIC PLANT. — One of the features of long distance power plants now appears to be F. M. Locke's porcelain insulators. In the Viles plant, illustrated in our last issue, they are used, being of the Locke triple petticoat type. The Riverside transmission in California, recently described, also employs Mr. Locke's admirable insulators.
