The Leonard Glass Works filed a bill yesterday in the Circuit Court against the Chicago Insulating Company and numerous persons who are or have been shareholders or officers of the corporation. The complainant purchased 600 $100 bonds of the company. Judgement was recovered, but nothing was realized. The trust deed was also foreclosed, but the security proved worthless. It is claimed that the directors, Augustus E. Walker, Nathan T. Fitch, F. S. Bassett, M. D. Watson, and Jacob Newman, are under the statute personally liable for their payment. The bill prays that a receiver be appointed. |
