Man injured at Brookfield during erection of new building

SERIOUSLY INJURED

OLD RIDGE [sic] BRIDGE, Sept. 11. — Peter Fanning, while doing some work at the top of the new concrete building of the Brookfield Glass Company, fell a distance of forty feet, Thursday morning, and was injured seriously. Sigward Olsen manager of the glass company, took the man to the house of Mrs. James Maquire, where he is boarding, and Dr . I. C. Crandall, the town physician, attended to his injuries. Mir. Fanning was later removed to Wells Hospital in New Brunswick.

Fanning came to Old Bridge a few weeks ago from Brooklyn. The doctors will further examine the man this afternoon.
