· · Yesterday Mr. R. Hemmingray [sic] Hemingray, of Covington, Ky., a large glass manufacturer, came to Anderson with a view to locating here. Natural gas and other features brought him. At same time Jerome Allen, one of the principals in the Greencastle nail works, who has investigated the Anderson field before arrived. They are the guests of J. W. Lovett, and last evening were driven about the city and shows the power of our gas wells. To-day they have been engaged in visiting the outskirts and suburbs of the city with a view of selecting a location for their factories. — Anderson Bulletin. · ·
