The Hemingray Glass Co., Covington, Ky., have a great sale for their improved "Empress" kerosene can this fall. By a patented and very ingenious device the oil from the can ceases to flow as soon as the lamp is filled, so that no overflow occurs, and accidents are thus avoided. They make a full line of lamp shades, lantern globes, founts, fruit jars, confectioners' jars and green glassware as well. They are doing a good trade at present.
