Hemingray has struck gas at 750 feet, will go 2000 feet if necessary

A report has been received that the Hemingray Glass Company, of Covington, Kentucky, have struck sufficient gas at a depth of 750 feet to run 1 furnace. They intend to go down 2,000 feet if necessary to obtain a sufficient supply to run their entire works.
