BUSINESS MEMORANDA.
·
·
The Hemingray Glass Co., Covington, Ky., have two flint furnaces running to their full capacity. There has been somewhat of an improvement in staple lines, caused no doubt by the labor troubles in eastern factories, but now that an amicable settlement of all difficulties has been made they are prepared to see a falling off in orders. There will be no new goods offered this fall, but they are making an effort to bring out a number of new designs in their decorating department. The success attending this step has been very gratifying indeed and it is evident the trade appreciates fully what is being done by them in this direction.
