(We understand that steatite comes from Bavaria, Germany, and is not obtainable in this country at present. Porcelain insulators for spark plugs are made by the Jeffery-Dewitt Company, Detroit, Mich. And the Star Porcelain Co., Trenton, N. J. Wire for spark plug points can be obtained from H. Boker & Co., 101 Duane street, New York; Baker & Co., Newark, N. J., and Driver-Harris Wire Co., Harrison, N. J. - Ed.)
