We say without hesitation, both from the opinions of others and our own experience of it, that the Globe fruit jar, manufactured by the HEMINGRAY GLASS CO., Covington, Ky., has no superior in the market. The jar itself is made of good, durable glass, capable of standing as hard knocks as any glass ought to be subjected. but the point we want to call special attention to is the cap. This can be opened or closed in a jiffy by any person capable of using his hands, and this without any wrenching, twisting, screwing, or the application of any instrument whatever. A little lever attached to the top of the cap is turned one way or the reverse. In the one case the jar is closed as tight as a drum, by one single motion of the hand, making it absolutely air tight and beyond the possibility of getting loose again without such is done intentionally. Turn the lever back and the can is just as readily opened. There is no intricacy or mystery about it, no bull work, or breaking jars, or scalding oneself with hot fruit syrup, nor blistering one's hands connected with its operation. No one getting this jar once will want any other ever again. Last year, although they had a big output, the firm ran out of jars before the season was nearly over and so they are fixing things this year to the end that they will be able to supply the demand. The jar took like wild-fire from the moment it was placed on the market. The company are making them now, and jobbers had better make their contracts early lest they get left. Of their selling qualities there is no question of a doubt, as they have no rival in the market.
