The D. M. Steward Manufacturing Company, of Chattanooga, Tenn., is still busy on orders for the patent lava insulators and is doing its best to keep up with the demands made by its customers. At a recent test where very high temperatures were necessary in close proximity to the insulators this material proved successful after the failure of asbestos.
