Bottle Works Fire.

The fruit jar factory of Wilson & McCulloch at Marion was visited by a destructive fire. One of the feed pipes burst, the gas took fire from the engine and in a moment the engine room was filled with flame. In a short time the stamping works were apparently a total wreck. The main plant, in which the jars are made, was saved. The estimate of the loss is from $30,000 to $50,000, on which there is insurance amounting to $18,500.
