Strikers at Swayzee sought employment in Fairmount

Publication: The Fairmount News

Fairmount, IN, United States

When the strike in Main's glass factory at Swayzee was declared off and the hands taken into the union all of them except one or two sought employment elsewhers [sic] elsewhere. Eight or ten blowers came to Fairmount and found work. Among them is our old friend, Fred Peters, who is employed at the Wilson-McCullogh factory No. 2. He will move his family here from Swayzee as soon as he can get a house.
