THE HEMINGRAY GLASS CO., manufacturers of flint, green and amber bottles, have a splendid factory in this place, besides their works at Covington, Ky. The factory building here is 72x72 feet and contains one 14-pot furnace. The packing room is 50x72 feet; stock room, 30x110 feet; blacksmith shop, 50x30 feet; box shop, 40x18 feet; mixing room, 50x30 feet, and pot room, 50x30 feet. They have two switches from the Ft. Wayne, Cincinnati & Louisville railroad, materials coming in on one and ware going out over the other. The buildings are clad with corrugated iron and every department is most conveniently arranged. Mr. Ralph Hemingray is general manager of the concern.
