At the works of the Cooke [sic] Cook Pottery Co., of Trenton, N. J., 800 men went on strike because of differences over the manufacture of electric porcelain, which the company added to its regular line some time ago. It was thought that the trouble would be settled amicably within a few days.

The National Electric Porcelain Co. has been incorporated at East Liverpool, O., with a capital of $50,000. G. P. Ikert is president; P. V. Mackall, secretary, and George S. Thompson, treasurer. A new porcelain works will be erected immediately.
