JOHNS-PRATT CO. — A factory for the manufacture of electrical insulators is to be erected by the Johns-Pratt Company at Hartford, Conn., and a second building has also been begun. The main structure will be a two-story brick building, 140 feet long on Capitol avenue and 40 feet wide. The other building, in the rear of the first, will be of brick, 90 feet long, 40 feet wide and three stories high. There will also be an engine and boiler house. Both buildings will be finished inside with Southern pine. Both buildings will be fitted up with electric lights throughout.
