THE KNAPP ELECTRICAL WORKS are having a targe demand for their Thomson-Houston and Sawyer-Man sockets. This socket is rery simple in design, and there is absolutely no danger of a short-circuit. One of their ealenmen recently liooked an order for five thousand before they were ready for the market. The firm are now having a large supply made up, and can All all orders promptly. They have laid in a large and complete stock of Perkins lamps of all candle-powers and voltages for the fall trade.
