MR. B. M. DOWNS, general manager of the Brookfield Glass Company, of New York, returned last week from a very successful tour of the Middle West. The severe Chicago weather did not agree with Mr. Downs and for a day or two kept him confined to the Auditorium with a threatened attack of "la grippe," which, however, did not develop.
