Owens-Illinois retiree is dead
Funeral services for Harold L. Eastus, 71, 919 West Parkway, who died Saturday afternoon in Woodlawn Nursing Home, will be Tuesday at 10 a.m in Parson Mortuary. Mr. Eastus had been ill for the past three years. A Summitville native, he was a retired employe of Owens-Illinois Glass after 48 years of service. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Muncie Masonic Lodge 433, Muncie Chapter No. 16, the Muncie Commandery 18, and Muncie Council 30.
His survivors include his widow, Mildred; a brother, Dalton, Marion, and several nieces and nephews. Callers will be received tonight at the mortuary from 7 to 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. |
