Starts Clay Manufacturing
The manufacture of clay has been started at the plant of the Davidson Porcelain Co., Canton, Ohio, Will S. Davidson, president of the company, announced. Until the first of the year the plant will operate only in certain departments. It is then planned to commence operations in all departments soon after the first of the year. At the start, a force of seventy-five will be employed. The company, which was formerly located in East Liverpool, Ohio, is engaged in the manufacture of electric porcelain products.
