The factories in the southeastern portion of the city will soon be connected with water works mains. They are sadly in need of this commodity, at the present time.

Researcher notes:	The Hemingray Glass factory would have been one of the factories not yet served by this new water main. Unfortunately, the water main did not yet reach the factory when it caught fire and burned on June 18, 1892.
