MRS. SHINKLE
IS CALLED BY
DEATH ANGEL
Died This Morning at Home
of Her Son, Bradford.
Funeral Will Probably Be
Held From Home Sunday.
Mrs. Amos Shinkle, 91, probably the most prominent woman in Covington, died this morning at the home of her son, Bradford Shinkle, at 165 East Second-st., after a lingering illness of several months. Mrs. Shinkle had been in failing health for many years, but a few days ago was reported to be much improved, and her death came as a surprise, notwithstanding her condition. The death occurred at 8:30, while her son and grandchildren were present.
Mrs. Shinkle had lived in Covington for 50 years. She leaves only one child, Bradford, who is connected with the Cincinnati & Covington Bridge Co., and many other corporations. She also leaves three grandchildren. Amos Shinkle, her husband, died in Covington about 16 years ago. She was a member of the Greenup-st. Methodist Church.
The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed, but the funeral will probably be held from the home Sunday or Monday.
